We're Riding to ReCharge This Month
Celebrate Ride to Work Day by staying active and cycling each day
Currently two thirds of Australians aren’t achieving enough daily exercise to maintain their health. At the same time, our cities are being choked by traffic. Health and congestion costs drain billions of dollars from the economy each year, so it is important that we ditch the car and get onto our bikes to travel each day.
Ordinarily, riding to work is one of the easiest and most time-efficient ways to fit daily exercise into your routine. By swapping the car, train or bus for a bike, you don’t have to spend any extra time or money on fitness and you’ll be healthier for it.
Currently many of us aren’t able to Ride to Work each day, but you can still make the most of your two wheels while working remotely. To celebrate Ride to Work Day on Wednesday 21 October, this month we are challenging you to ride to ReCharge each day, around your local area. There are safe cycle paths and tracks in every area around Melbourne, that you can access each day, for free.
If you are travelling to your workplace each day, don't forget to ditch the transport and hop on the bike!
